A lot of social media reactions have trailed the recent pictures of the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, following the enormous crowd he pulled during a short exercise in Kano State on Sunday.
In an appreciation post to the people of Kano State for coming out en masse to witness the commissioning of the NNPP secretariat in the state, the former Kano Governor tweeted thus:
“As we approach the campaign kickoff, I was in Kano to commission the state @OfficialNNPPng secretariat. I am simply overwhelmed by the reception the good people of the state accorded to the movement. We shall be back for the campaign. Nagode, Kanawan Dabo!”
Meanwhile, Nigerians on social media, who were amazed by the pictures and the crowd had this to say:
Red Sea: “Kano was actually RED today. I spent 2 hours from my house to where I planned to go, I really dont know what was going on before I started seeing red cap everywhere. Omo, I saw crowd today.”
Metaplasia: “This is going to be a really interesting election.”
