Qatar 2022: Ghana gives up on Nketiah’s switch of allegiance for World Cup
The Ghanaian Football Association (GFA) has given up trying to convince Eddie Nketiah, a forward for Arsenal, to change his allegiance and maybe compete for the Black Stars in Qatar at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Nketiah turned down the offer from the Black Stars after failing to receive a call-up to the Three Lions of England prior to the World Cup in Qatar, therefore he won't be in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Nketiah reportedly expressed interest in playing for the Black Stars in August, which prompted the GFA to take action to hire him.

Nketiah, an English native, leads all U-21 scorers in England with 16 goals in 17 games.
