Tinubu will decide which events he’ll attend – APC

According to Tijani Tumsah, coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima Support Group for the North-East, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, is free to pick and choose which events he will go to. Tumsah said this on Sunday's broadcast of Sunday Politics on Channels Television.

Recall that Kashim Shettima, his running mate, was scheduled to represent Tinubu at the signing of the 2023 election peace deal, where he had lately come under fire for missing it.

Tumsah claims that while Tinubu can't be at every event at once, he will go to the ones he can and will be professionally represented at the ones he can't.

The presidential candidate will decide which events he will attend, and those he cannot will have him expertly represented. In addition to the event in Lagos, another location arranged a composite rally. As a result, the presidential candidate need not be present in two places at once. It is unrealistic to expect the presidential candidate to attend every event concurrently given the range of events that go occur.

When asked whether Tinubu would go to all 36 of the federation's states as part of the party's election campaign, Tumsah said that he would, just as he had done during the primaries.
