Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has fired Prof Patrick Ekezie Egbule, Vice Chancellor of the Imo State University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences in Umuagwo.
This was stated in a statement issued by Chief Cosmas Iwu, Secretary to the State Government, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
Though no reason was given for the dismissal, the statement did state that the Governor had approved the appointment of Prof Christopher Chiedozie Eze as the institution's Acting Vice Chancellor.
