Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, who represents Osun East Senatorial District in Osun State, has warned Governor Wike's G-5 of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to be cautious of their actions within the party, warning that if they don't listen to the voice of reason, they will soon become irrelevant.
He said that as a result of their actions, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, the recently elected Executive Governor of Osun, has automatically assumed the position of Party Leader in the South West and will deliver the zone for the PDP.
The so-called G-5 governors, according to Fadahunsi who made the comments while chatting with newsmen, are political desperate individuals who will soon become irrelevant.
The lawmaker said: We don’t have anything to fear, if you follow my write up you will see that the group we are talking about apart from Wike that is leading political desperados almost all of them are outgoing Governors and only my junior brother in Ibadan that has enormous problems in Ibadan is the one that’s going to be around.
“The remaining governors in the next few months will be ex-Governors, you will see that Oyetola left this place on Friday he is now an ex-Governor.
“He can’t even access Osogbo let alone accessing Abere, so be it the others who are still galvanizing, wasting enormous energy, and funds from their state. They’re galvanizing all over the world looking for what they have not lost because of their personal interest in politics.
According to him, during the Jonathan regime these people you are talking about we call them political ‘baseje’ spoilers. The Jonathan regime has taught PDP a great lesson.
“If they had listened to me at day one they would have ignored them, they are now political entertainers who are foolish entertaining their own subjects as if the slaves are entertaining colonial masters.
