Aminu Jaji: APC inherited insecurity, cannot be held responsible

Aminu Jaji, the director of contact and mobilisation for Tinubu-presidential Shettima's campaign in the North West, has asserted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not to blame for the current condition of insecurity in the country since it inherited it.

Jaji, a former head of the House Committee on Intelligence and Internal Security and 2019 APC candidate for governor of Zamfara State, made these comments at a press conference in Gusau, the state capital.

The former legislator said that President Muhammadu Buhari's APC-led administration has taken all necessary steps to solve the problem.

In addition, Zamfara State will be granted to the APC, according to Jaji, who expressed confidence that the APC would win and retain the president in the approaching 2023 election.

“I am very optimistic that APC would retain its seat at the national and state levels. If the APC presidential candidate is elected in 2023, he will make Nigeria and Nigerians very proud.

“I am sure that Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu will take the issue of insecurity as his number one priority and tackle it appropriately.

“We know that the APC-led government inherited the security challenges, and the party has done everything within its power to tackle the problem,” he remarked.

Jaji added that the APC government discovered an oil well in Gombe State under Buhari’s presidency.
