According to Arik Air, on December 20, 2022, new flights would begin to Ilorin, Kwara state, and Asaba, Delta state.
Flights to Ilorin and Asaba will depart from the General Aviation Terminal at Lagos' Muritala Muhammed Airport four times weekly, according to a press statement from Arik Air spokeswoman Banji Ola. Four times a week, flights from Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja will depart for Ilori.
Passengers may return home for a holiday thanks to the restored flights between Abuja, Ilorin, Lagos, and Asaba.
Regarding the restart of flights, Arik Air's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Captain Roy Ilegbodu, said the following: "We have listened to our clients in Ilorin and Asaba who have been clamouring for our services. They put their trust in us to deliver top-notch service, and we won't let them down.
