Bello Gwarzo: PDP manifesto will restore Nigeria’s lost glory

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s updated platform and blueprint, according to Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, the PDP's national vice chairman for the northwest zone, will restore the nation to its former splendour.

During the official launch of the party's campaign and the presentation of the party flag to the candidate for governor of Jigawa State, Gwarzo made these remarks in the state capital of Dutse.

Gwarzo claimed that Nigeria and its people are in a precarious situation as a result of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration's poor leadership.

Life has become very difficult for everyone in the nation, he claims, due to "bad governance and ignorance of good policy formulation and implementation by the ruling APC."

According to him, the majority of people live in abject poverty, small business owners and traders have been ejected from their establishments, and the level of security in the nation is steadily declining.

Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido, a PDP candidate for governor, also addressed the crowd and expressed confidence in the PDP's ability to win both the state and federal levels in the upcoming 2023 elections.

Lamido has declared that his administration will be distinct from the one the ruling party is currently in.

He pledged that everyone in the state would have enough to eat as well as new employment opportunities for the state's numerous young people.

If elected, the PDP's gubernatorial candidate will be transparent and accountable.

Lamido promised to declare an emergency on unemployment as a way to reduce crime.
