The head of the Lagos State CAN branch, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has predicted that peace will prevail in Nigeria and that all dire prophecies will come to pass.
In a Christmas message he emailed media on Saturday in Lagos, Adegbite announced the news.
He predicted that the nation would experience God's favour and that good would ultimately prevail over evil.
The CAN leader in Lagos asserted that because God was concerned about Nigeria's advancement, supernatural happenings will bring back its previous splendour.
He went on to say that despite the country's troubles, Nigerians should be grateful for the gift of life.
He claims that a peaceful society will result from the arrival of Jesus Christ, assisting people in overcoming their worries.
He said, "The season will be celebrated without rancour," which means that the expected transition period would go off without a hitch, to God's honour.
The religious leader said that God had stepped in to instal a government that would put an end to social strife in Nigeria.
