Kamal Adebayo, popularly known as Sir Kay, a veteran Yoruba actor, has died.
The late man was also the father of popular comedian Abidemi Adebayo, also known as Isbae U.
Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, announced the actor's death on Tuesday via his Instagram page.
"It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Alhaji Kamal Adebayo," MC Oluomo wrote (Sir Kay). May Allah give him eternal peace. Sir Kay, rest in peace."
Following the announcement, other Yoruba actors and actresses have posted on their Instagram pages to mourn the deceased.
Faithia Williams captioned a photo of a lit candle, "What a life. "God... Sir Kay," accompanied by crying emojis.
Yomi Fabiyi who shared a picture of the deceased wrote, “O di gba kan naa, Sir K Warrior. Wabili Kabbar. RIP senior man. I’m weak.”
Isbae U, however, is yet to speak on his father’s demise as of the time of filing this report.
