EFCC launches search for Kano APC senatorial candidate over ‘$1.32m fraud’
Following Monday's allegations of a N1,320,000 fraud, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has started looking for Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkarim, the All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate in Kano Central.

Ahmed Arogha Esq., the Commission's attorney, stated that the Anti-Graft Agency is "searching for him" in a press conference with media at the federal High court in Kano.

Barrister Arogha declared that the Commission will "arrest him wherever he is" after the court was unable to convene due to the presiding Judge's absence.

Barrister Arogha said, paraphrasing, "we will arrest him whenever and wherever we find him."

That took place after Zaura tried in vain to stop his trial at the federal high court.

In addition, the Nigerian Supreme Court mandated that the APC senatorial candidate come before the Federal High Court in Kano to defend himself against the charges that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had brought against him.

By acting as an estate agent with expertise in construction in Dubai, Kuwait, and other Arab nations, the Commission alleges that Zaura defrauded a Kuwaiti resident out of $1,320,000 (one million, three hundred and twenty thousand dollars).
