IGP deploys Frank Mba, six other Police Commissioners
Usman Alkali Baba, the inspector general of police, has assigned seven commissioners of police to commands and formations all around the nation.

In a statement released on Friday, Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, confirmed the development.

Adejobi said in the statement that one of Baba's seven CPs was the former FPRO Frank Mba.

The Border Patrol Force's Force Headquarters in Abuja now houses Mba.

Sadiq Abubakar, who was transferred to the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Abuja, Arungwa Udo, Bardaru Lawal, Suleiman Yusuf, Ebong E. Ebong, Babaj, and others are also affected by the position changes. Arungwa Udo was transferred to the Department of Finance and Administration, Force Intelligence Bureau, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

The assignment came after the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies' Senior Executive Course 44, which included senior Nigerian Police Force personnel prominently.

Baba urged the newly appointed police to get started right once in the areas of safety, public collaboration, and crime prevention.

In order for the new police helmsmen to effectively carry out their duties, he also appealed for the public's support and cooperation.
