It’s miracle Abia is peaceful — Gov Ikpeazu

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia claims that God's miracle and love are the greatest explanations for the state's relative tranquilly despite the unrest in other areas of the nation.

The governor praised the people of Abia for their support and gave thanks to God for the state's current state of peace and security, which has allowed residents to go about their daily lives without fear.

Mr. Ikpeazu said that the state government will continue to work with security organisations to secure people's lives and property in Abia in order to preserve the peace.

The assertions were made by the governor in his Christmas greeting, which was given on Sunday in Umuahia by his spokesman Onyebuchi Ememanka.

By maintaining the qualities of love, peace, and togetherness, Mr. Ikpeazu invited Christians to focus on the essence of the Christmas holiday.

He advised the populace to abstain from actions that may spark social instability in the country, saying that Christmas was a time to acquire characteristics that foster love.

Mr Ikpeazu described Christmas as the most significant celebration in Christendom,  adding, ”it marks the birth of the Saviour, Jesus Christ, an event that heralds the commencement of the redemption of man from eternal damnation.”
