Yakubu entered a guilty plea for trespass and theft, and Judge David Damulak punished him.
But Damulak offered the defendant the choice of a N25,000 fine or a 12-month sentence for trespass and another N10,000 or a 12-month sentence for theft.
According to the judge, individuals who would desire to commit such crimes would be discouraged by the verdict.
