According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), 32,684 registered voters in Lagos state picked up their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) on Friday, January 6.
In its daily report on PVC collecting, which the commission released on Saturday in Abuja, it was revealed that 15,286 of the registered voters in Lagos who picked up their PVCs were female while 17,398 were men.
The commission also revealed that 13,703 registered voters picked up their voter cards in Edo on the same Friday.
From January 6 to January 15, INEC devolved the nationwide exercise to registration area/ward level; from January 16 to January 22, it returned to its local government offices.
