Dave Umahi: Bola Tinubu will care for Igbos like Muhammadu Buhari

The governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, has stated that Bola Tinubu, a presidential contender for the All Progressives Congress (APC), will treat the Igbo people with the same consideration that President Muhammadu Buhari does.

He spoke during APC election rallies at Iboko, the administrative centre of the Izzi Local Government Area.

Umahi asserts that the Igbos will profit in a number of ways if Tinubu wins the presidency next month.

Umahi recalled that Tinubu made sure the Igbos were taken care of while he was governor of Lagos State.

“We are with Tinubu and Shettima,” he declared. “They will take care of Ebonyi State the way Buhari took care of Ebonyi State. The way Buhari has been taking care of us that is the way Jagaban is going to take care of the Ndigbo.

“Jagaban was the governor of Lagos State, and under him, Ndigbo in Lagos prospered, and they are still prospering.

“This speaker has been with me for 16 years from when I was party chairman to when I was made deputy governor and then governor.”

Umahi claims that in 2023, Igbos will not let their emotions determine their voting choice.
