G-5 Governors Storm Oyo For Makinde’s Re-election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) G-5 Governors have arrived in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, for the start of Seyi Makinde's re-election rally.

Makinde is one of the G-5 Governors who have sworn not to support the party's presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar until Dr Iyorchia Ayu, the party's national chairman, steps down from his position.

Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike, Samuel Ortom (of Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (of Abia), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi are also included in the group (Enugu).

At precisely 1:00 pm, the governors arrived at the location of the campaign flag-off.

In his speech at the event, Ikpeazu urged the attendees to support Makinde, saying that if elected, he would go above and beyond what he had already accomplished.
