Just In: Another container falls on Kara bridge, Lagos-Ibadan expressway

 On Monday night, another tragic incident was averted when an articulated truck transporting a 40-foot container collided with the Kara bridge section of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The truck was reportedly on its way into Ogun State when the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned.

The incident, which occurred a few minutes after 11 p.m., halted vehicular movement along the axis.

Prime9jaOnline previously reported that on Sunday, a container fell and crushed nine occupants of a commercial bus in Lagos' Ojuelegba neighborhood.

On Monday morning, another container was reported to have fallen along the Dopemu end of the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.
