Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has granted public employees days off so they can obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) prior to the deadline of January 29.
According to a circular issued by the State Head of Service Hakeem Muri-Okunola, public employees would be granted time off between January 24 and January 27 based on their income bracket.
“To this end, Mr Governor has graciously approved some work-free days to enable public servants to collect their Permanent Voters Cards from their respective local governments/local council development areas.”
Accordingly, public officials and accountants were asked to check for conformity in advance of the next vote.
