Muhammadu Buhari to campaign for Bola Tinubu in 10 states

According to the APC Presidential Campaign Council, President Muhammadu Buhari has demonstrated a personal commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign and expressed a readiness to physically attend some of the future campaign events.

According to the most recent campaign timetable announced on Thursday, the President is slated to travel the campaign route in at least ten states, according to Festus Keyamo (SAN), director of public relations and main spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign.

Festus Keyamo, the minister of state for labour and employment, has said that President Buhari will exert all of his influence to guarantee that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, wins the election.

“Recall that Mr President, out of his hectic schedule, had earlier attended the flag-off of the presidential campaign in Jos on 15th November 2022,” reads a portion of the statement. “This was also after graciously accepting to be the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling party.

“In the latest campaign timetable released yesterday (5th January 2023), the President is billed to join the Campaign Train in at least ten States.

“The states are Adamawa State on 9th January; Yobe State on 10th January; Sokoto State on 16th January; Kwara State on 17th January; Ogun State on 25th January; Cross Rivers State on 30th January; Nassarawa State on 4th February; Katsina State on 6th February; Imo State on 14th February and the Grand Finale in Lagos State on 18th February.

“The PCC expresses its profound gratitude to President Buhari, the leader of our great party, for his sterling and inspirational leadership at this time and for galvanising our teeming members and supporters across the country.

“We urge our party faithful and supporters to turn out en masse, as usual, in the forthcoming campaign rallies. The zero hours is nigh; our spirits must be high; we must not relent in this our collective march to our victory that is divinely ordained.”
