Relief as Senator Facilitates Road Rehabilitation in Ogun

Residents of Joga Orile, Ibooro, Imasai, and Ibese in the Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State have found respite as the 13-kilometre road that connects the region's major towns has started to be renovated.

The National Assembly senator for Ogun West, Tolu Odebiyi, helped to assist the road reconstruction as a result of his intervention as one of his constituency projects.

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture Maintenance and Rural Development was in charge of it.

When discussing the road project's economic significance, Odebiyi noted that once it was finished, it would improve both the movement of agricultural goods from farms to markets and the local economy.

In particular, during the holiday season, the senator urged drivers to use caution on the road and cooperate with employees doing road rehabilitation.

Ayetoro, Igbogila, and other localities had solar streetlights erected nearby. Odebiyi urged citizens to keep an eye on these lights and make sure they are not vandalised.

The Baasi of Joga Orile, Chief Musa Akinbode, thanked Odebiyi for helping to make the project possible and stated that once it is finished, the road repair project will lessen the difficulties that drivers and commuters currently experience.
