2023: EFCC sets up dedicated contacts for whistleblowers on vote-buying
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has established dedicated channels for whistleblowers to report incidents of vote buying during the February 25, 2023 elections.

The Commission's Head of Media & Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, announced that tactical teams of operatives are present in all states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Telephone hotlines for reporting financial malpractices have been distributed through social media, with details available on EFCC's social media platforms.

Members of the public are also encouraged to use the EFCC financial crimes reporting App, Eagle Eye, available for download on Google Play or Apple Store.

They can also contact the Commission through its social media handle, @officialefcc, or via email at info@efcc.gov.ng. Uwujaren urged the public to report any attempt to buy or sell votes during the election.
