2023 Election: APC secures Bauchi South senatorial seat

Hon Shehu Buba of APC has won the Bauchi South Senatorial Zone election, according to INEC. Buba emerged victorious with 170,505 votes, beating his closest rival Garba Dahiru of PDP who scored 165,727 votes. 

The election was peaceful, and Buba's victory has been attributed to his grassroots support and popularity. 

Buba has promised to represent the people's interests and work hard for Bauchi South. The incumbent Senator Lawal Yahaya Gumau, who came fourth, has congratulated Buba and pledged to work with him. 

Political observers have urged Buba to fulfill his campaign promises and work for the common good of the people.
