2023 Election: Late Arrival of Voting Materials and Large Turnout in FCT

Voters in Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT, turned out in large numbers as early as 7am to cast their votes in the Presidential and National Assembly elections. Several polling units witnessed a high turnout of voters, with many residents eager to participate in the exercise.

However, the late arrival of voting materials caused delays, and some INEC ad-hoc staff were still waiting for vehicles to convey them and the materials to their respective polling units as at 9:30am.
