2023 Election: Obi emerges victorious over Tinubu and Atiku in Abuja
Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has emerged as the winner of the presidential poll in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. According to collation officers, Obi secured a total of 281,667 votes from the six area councils, indicating a significant lead over his opponents.

Although he is yet to be officially declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the figures presented by collation officers have shown that Obi won by a wide margin.

In the same election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate, received 90,902 votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) trailed behind with 73,743 votes.

A breakdown of the election results by council areas revealed that the APC won in Abaji with 10,370 votes, while the PDP received 6,888 votes. The LP secured 2874 votes. In Kuje, the LP led with 14,257 votes, followed by the APC with 10,648 votes and the PDP with 10,028 votes.

In Kwali, the APC led with 11,242 votes, followed by the PDP with 9,054 votes and the LP with 7,302 votes. In Bwari, the LP polled 67,198 votes, while the APC got 13,156 votes and the PDP received 10,385 votes.

In Gwagwalada, the LP secured the highest number of votes with 19,694, followed by the APC with 15,890 votes and the PDP with 10,981 votes. In the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), the LP emerged victorious with 170,392 votes, while the APC had 29,596 votes and the PDP scored 24,607 votes.

With these results, Obi has emerged as the winner of the presidential poll in Abuja, and his supporters have already started celebrating his victory. However, it is important to note that these results are yet to be officially announced by INEC, and it remains to be seen whether there will be any changes in the final outcome.
