The Ondo State Collation Officer for the presidential election has announced that results will be delayed until 7 p.m. on Sunday.
The results of 13 local government areas have been announced, while those of five others are still pending.
Akure South, Ilaje, Ese Odo, Okitipupa, and Odigbo are outstanding local government areas.
When the collation officer announced that the results would be delayed until 7 p.m., party agents and observers objected.
Following that reaction, the collation officer explained that results from Ese-Odo and Ilaje riverine areas would take several hours to arrive, pleading for patience.
On that note, an agreement was reached, and the center was adjourned.
