2023 Election: Ortom applauds peaceful election in Benue

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has lauded his people across party lines for the peaceful conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections held last Saturday.

Ortom said that despite the pre-election apprehensions, voters in the 23 local government areas of the state went out to exercise their civic responsibility without any major breach of peace recorded in any part of the state. 

The governor through his Media aide, Terver Akase, commended the resilience of those who were able to vote during the elections despite the current economic situation in the country.
