2023 Election: Tinubu defeats Atiku, Obi in Kogi State

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has been declared the winner by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in last Saturday's presidential election in Kogi state.

INEC's Returning Officer in charge of the election, Professor Wahab Egbenwole, declared in Lokoja on Tuesday that the candidate of the APC scored 240,751votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of PDP who got 145,104 votes.

Also, he said the candidate of the Labour party, Mr Peter Obi, came third with 56,217 votes.
