2023: NSCDC Deploys 1,500 Personnel for Ekiti Election Security
The Ekiti State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), CC John Fayemi, has reaffirmed his command's commitment to ensuring adequate security measures are put in place before, during, and after the 2023 General Election.

Speaking on the matter, CC Fayemi stated that the security of life and property, as well as all electoral materials including the ad-hoc staff of INEC, during and after the general elections, remains the top priority of the command.

He further noted that the Ekiti Command has made adequate preparations to secure the INEC secretariat, as well as other sensitive and non-sensitive materials.

It is essential to ensure that the electoral process is conducted smoothly and without any security threats or disruptions.

The NSCDC is a crucial stakeholder in maintaining peace and security during elections, and its readiness to provide security is crucial to the success of the 2023 General Election in Ekiti State.

The public can have confidence in the security measures put in place by the NSCDC to ensure that voters can exercise their democratic rights in a safe and secure environment.
