Abeokuta Naira, Fuel Protest: Police Intervenes (Videos)
Prime 9ja Online earlier reported that several residents in Abeokuta have protested over Naira and fuel scarcity in the country. In pictures shared on Tuesday, residents poured into the roads and streets over biting scarcity of cash and fuel.

Aggrieved residents attacked First bank, Zenith bank, GT bank and Fidelity bank throwing stones and destroying a lot of the banks' properties.

This protest led to a cult clash around the Sapon axis after an unidentified man got shot.

According to sources, He (the unidentified man) has been rescued and taken to the state's general hospital for proper treatment by other residents.  He allegedly lost a significant amount of blood there.

As of the time of filling this report, the police are in total control of the crises and everywhere is peaceful.
