Bashir Sheriff Machina, former Chairman of the Governing Board of the Nigerian Shippers' Council and ex-senatorial aspirant, has called on eligible voters in Yobe North to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming general elections. Machina urged voters to assess Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, based on his past performance and achievements.
According to Machina, the APC has presented its best candidates for the elections, and it is crucial for the people of Yobe North to support the party. The former chairman emphasized the need for eligible voters to come out en masse to vote on election day.
Machina's call to action is aimed at encouraging people to participate in the electoral process and support the APC in the forthcoming general elections.
“Tinubu is a large-hearted philanthropist, a reputable humanist who will drive productivity and growth, he has the capacity to drive the nation in the direction that we want it, I urge you to support his presidential ambition for the betterment of our country,” Machina said.
On the 11th of March, Machina appealed to all his supporters to vote for APC and the governorship ticket of Mai Mala Buni, saying Yobe is steadily progressing under APC.
“We have no fear of the opposition party, because Yobe is already for APC, let us shun violence and cast our votes for our party which by implication is voting for good governance,” Machina concluded.
