Dayo Israel: Lagos Tinubu supporters refused to vote without mobilisation
Dayo Israel, the youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has criticized supporters of Bola Tinubu in Lagos, referring to them as "gluttons," while expressing dissatisfaction with his party's performance in the presidential election. He made this statement in response to a Twitter user who expressed disappointment in the APC's performance in Lagos.

In a tweet on Monday, Mr Israel called on the progressives in Lagos to wake up, reminding them that they have the numbers and should stop waiting for mobilization. He further explained that some people refused to come out to vote because they expected others to have come out already.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi of the Labour Party is maintaining a slim lead ahead of Mr Tinubu in the hotly contested election. During the campaign, Mr Tinubu boasted that he would win Lagos with a wide margin, calling Mr Obi his tenant. However, Mr Obi, perceived as an underdog, is determined to demystify the former Lagos State governor, who prides himself as Jagaban of Nigeria.
