FCT senatorial result: AMAC result halts declaring winner, 3 days after
The returning officer for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) senatorial election, Professor Sani Saka, said the result from the Abuja Municipal Area Council, (AMAC) is being awaited three days after the Presidential and National Assembly elections. 

He stated this at the FCT senatorial collation centre, Garki Area 10, Abuja Tuesday afternoon.

FCT Senatorial Results:

Kwali Area Council 

APC ——12,157

PDP —— 11,708

LP —— 4,210

NNPP —— 270

Kuje Area Council

Registered Voters—133, 501

Accredited Voters—37, 024

Total Votes Cast—37, 009

APC ——10, 644

LP———10,315

NNPP———311

PDP———13, 830

Kwali Area Council 

APC———12, 157

PDP———11, 708

LP———4, 210

Gwagwalada Area Council 

Registered Voters—186, 794

Accredited Voters—53, 310

Total Votes Cast—53, 310

APC———16, 955

LP———14, 438

NNPP———339

PDP———17, 145

The Collection Officer for Gwagwalada Area Council, Barr. JJ Ndana said the entire result of Zuba Ward was cancelled due to violence erupting during the voting and collation of the results in the night.
