IGP Probes Governors for Allegedly Inciting Naira Scarcity
The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has issued a statement regarding the scarcity of Nigerian naira across the country.

According to the statement, the IGP is closely monitoring the situation and investigating possible incitement by state governors.

The IGP said, “We are closely monitoring the situation with regard to the scarcity of the naira across the country. We have received numerous reports of governors, who are making inflammatory statements that could potentially lead to violent conflicts. We are actively investigating these reports and will take appropriate action when necessary.”

The naira scarcity has been a major issue in Nigeria for the past few months, with some parts of the country facing a complete absence of currency.

It has caused a lot of stress and economic hardship for many Nigerian citizens.

The IGP went on to say, “The economic hardship that has been caused by naira scarcity is affecting many people across the country. We are dedicated to ensuring that the Nigerian public is safe, and we will not tolerate any form of incitement or violence. We urge all governors to be mindful of their words and actions during this difficult period.”

The IGP’s statement comes as a welcome relief to many Nigerians who have been affected by the naira scarcity.

The scarcity has reduced the purchasing power of the Nigerian public and has caused a lot of stress. It is hoped that the IGP’s statement will lead to a swift investigation and appropriate action against any incitement.
