According to a statement from the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Dr Fabian Benjamin, the ongoing registration for the 2023 Direct Entry has been suspended.
The suspension, which took effect immediately, was announced yesterday in Abuja, so specific measures could be implemented to assist candidates.
JAMB announced that new registration procedures will be implemented soon, including the uploading of JAMB Admission Letters for OND and NCE, Admission Letters issued by universities for University Diploma, and Admission Letters issued by A’ Level examination bodies (IJMBE, JUPEB, etc.).
Candidates will be able to go to JAMB offices nationwide to register once the new date is announced.
The registration for DE began on Monday, February 20, 2023, and was originally set to end on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
JAMB-approved offices are the only places candidates can go to register for Direct Entry, and they should be aware of this.
