A Federal High Court has dismissed the lawsuit filed by Abdullahi Adamu Mohammed and two other people seeking to invalidate the Ward, Local Government, State, and National Congresses against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Senator Uba Sani.
Recall that the lawsuit sought to invalidate the APC congresses and annul the EXCOS election, which would have disqualified all of the party's candidates in Kaduna State.
The Federal High Court, Kaduna Division made a decision on Monday afternoon, according to Sule Shuaibu Esq., the attorney for the APC in Kaduna and a former NBA chairman in the state.
Sani's supporters in the Kaduna State APC could be spotted jubilating in the city's campaign headquarters as soon as the court's ruling was made public.
The most recent decision follows one rendered by the Supreme Court of Nigeria on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in which two appeals by Hon. Sani Mahmoud Sha'aban against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress (APC), and its governor candidate, Senator Uba Sani, were also dismissed.
