The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's Benin Zonal Command arrested three people on Saturday in Benin, Edo State, for possessing 20 permanent voters cards.
During the general elections, they were arrested.
Afekhana Esther, one of the suspects, was apprehended with 20 PVCs belonging to different people at Ward 1, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Ikpoba Okha, Benin City.
She claimed the cards were given to her by Comfort Muoneke, a 73-year-old woman, and Segun Osaimokhai, a 39-year-old man.
