According to Roy Keane, the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo has enabled Erik ten Hag to restore the "feel-good factor" at Manchester United.
The former Manchester United player covered the Red Devils' 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in their League Cup semifinal for Sky Sports. With a cumulative 5-0 win, Ten Hag's team made it to the championship game. Ronaldo's contract was terminated by both parties in November, and since then, United has won 12 straight games at home. At the conclusion of his second stint at Old Trafford, Keane was a staunch Ronaldo supporter. He has acknowledged, nevertheless, that Ronaldo's exit aided Ten Hag in making important adjustments.
"I think that's assisted (Ronaldo's leaving) the management and the club," the ex-United player told Sky Sports. Naturally, Ronaldo wasn't going to be content to watch from the sidelines in the entire circumstance. Now that they've resolved it, it no longer hangs over the club.

“There definitely feels around the club a new energy, the new manager has put a few markers down after a bad start to the season, and that momentum and that feel-good factor are back at the club.”
The Red Devils will play again on Saturday against Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Ronaldo will try to score for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League when they go to Al Fateh.
