Video: Hunter Uncovers Stash of Hundreds of PVCs in Anambra Forest
A hunter recently stumbled across a bag of hundreds of PVCs in a forest in Anambra State, Nigeria. Authorities believe these cards belong to the residents of Nnewi North, located in the same state.

A reporter from Authority FM, the local radio station, has since released a video urging the public to check if their voter identification cards are among the stash. All those who are yet to find their PVCs from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are encouraged to visit Authority FM's offices in Anambra in search of their cards.

The hunter’s identity remains unknown, however, the significance of the find cannot be underestimated. PVCs are essential for all registered voters in Nigeria, and this discovery could potentially restore the voting rights of hundreds of citizens.

The INEC’s spokesperson, Festus Okoye, has since issued a public statement, expressing his delight at the discovery. He commended the hunter’s action, saying that the cards will be put to good use during the upcoming elections.

The spokesman also expressed his gratitude to the local media for spreading the news and calling on those who are yet to find their cards to check the found stash. He further urged INEC officials to ensure the safe storage and delivery of the cards to the rightful owners.

The local government in Nnewi North has also released a statement, commending the hunter’s diligence in finding the cards. They expressed their appreciation to Authority FM for their commitment to ensuring the voting rights of their constituents.

The hunter in question remains unidentified, but his or her actions have the potential to restore the voting rights of hundreds of citizens. It is incumbent upon INEC officials and local authorities to ensure safe storage and delivery of the cards to their rightful owners. The importance of this discovery cannot be overstated.
