Actor curses family for not buying him car
Nollywood actor, Aremu Afolayan, has come under fire for cursing his family members for not buying him a car. The actor, who is also a car dealer, claimed that he had sold cars to people both at home and abroad on behalf of their siblings, but none of his siblings have ever bought him a car.

Aremu is the son of the late legendary Nigerian actor, filmmaker, dramatist, and producer, Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan, popularly known as Ade Love. Some of his brothers, including Kunle and Gabriel Afolayan, are also popular actors and filmmakers in Nigeria, while his aunt is the well-known actress, Lola Idije.

In a video which Aremu posted on his Instagram page, the actor could be seen alongside a friend, as he ranted about his family members. He directed his message at his extended and relational family, calling on Ogun, the god of iron, to kill them all.

The video has since sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many Nigerians condemning the actor's actions. Some have called for him to retract his curses and apologize to his family members, while others have questioned his entitlement mentality and accused him of using social media to seek attention.

It is not clear if any of Aremu's family members have responded to his outburst. However, the incident has once again highlighted the issue of entitlement and the pressure that public figures face to meet the expectations of their family members and communities.
