Elder Uma Eleazu, Interim Chairman, Board of Trustees, Anya-Ndi-Igbo
Nigerian Social Cultural Group Anya-Ndi-Igbo has called on all citizens to stay resolute during Saturday’s Governor and House of Assembly election.

The group’s Board of Trustees President, Elder Uma Eleazu, released a statement urging Nigerians to remain faithful in the elections and show their civic responsibility.

All group members stated that voters should choose candidates with integrity and competent characteristics. The statement urged Nigerian citizens to be educated on the logos of all Political Parties to ensure that those living in rural areas have the necessary knowledge for their roles in voting.

Elder Uma Eleazu spoke about the group’s appreciation for heeding their call at the recent Presidential Election, commending them and saluting their patriotism. Furthermore, he emphasized that each vote counts only once cast, measured, and appropriately transmitted through INEC’s provisions.

Lastly, Eleazu reminded citizens that grievances should be taken to law courts to ensure justice is served if needed.

Governorship and House of Assembly elections are scheduled for Saturday this weekend across numerous states in Nigeria. Citizens are encouraged to use their votes wisely to bring positive change that will benefit the teeming youth population, manifesting into job opportunities, security, and new opportunities throughout the country.

It is essential now more than ever for Nigerians to unite collectively as a nation while looking forward towards a hopeful future with improved governance.
