Ogbaloi accused the PDP of engaging in last-minute manoeuvring and seeking ways to meet with LP House of Assembly candidates, adding that the LP is going into the election with all its hearts and is not holding consultations with any political party, including the PDP or APC.
He encouraged supporters to come out in full strength and replicate the gallantry shown in the presidential and national assembly elections held last Saturday, adding that the LP is aiming to win all 24 state assembly seats.
The LP chairman also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hold another election in Edo North and other places where there were problems. He criticized INEC for what he described as a shameful compromise and reckless indulgence in the conduct of the elections, adding that the results across the country were riddled with manipulation and contestable.
The LP thanked the people of the state, especially those in Edo South and Edo Central, for their support and urged them not to be deterred or intimidated. Ogbaloi stressed that LP House of Assembly candidates are the best choice for the state and should be voted for.
