The LGG called for his candidacy, citing his credentials of competence, experience, and impactful legislative leadership. They also stressed the need for power balancing amongst all geo-political zones and for a Speaker with a clear understanding of legislative leadership.
According to the LGG, Hon. Sada Soli's potential speakership would ensure quality and balance of power amongst all the geo-political zones in Nigeria.
They argue that since the President is from the South West, the Vice-President from the North East, and the potential the Senate President come from the South East or South-South, the Speaker of the House of Representatives should come from the North West - which happens to be the core support base of the APC.
Hon. Sada Soli was re-elected to the 10th National Assembly, representing the people of Kaita/Jibia Federal Constituency in Katsina State. The LGG believes that his experience, leadership, and voice of reason make him the ideal candidate for the speakership position.
They also call on the leadership of the All Progressive Congress and President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider Hon. Sada Soli's candidacy and the rich political and leadership values he would bring to service to the country as the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
As Nigeria moves towards a new political dispensation, calls for the right leadership to steer the country in the right direction continue to grow louder. The LGG's call for Hon. Sada Soli to vie for the speakership position highlights the need for credible and competent leaders who understand the country's challenges and are willing to work towards finding sustainable solutions.
As the political space heats up in the coming months, Nigerians hope that the right leaders will emerge to guide the country towards progress and development.
