According to reports, the traditional ruler and three of his children lost their lives in the accident, while his wife and two children survived. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
Confirming the incident, the Sarkin Yaki Dutse, Abubakar Dutse expressed sadness over the loss of the traditional ruler and his children. He also condoled the family of the deceased and the entire Basirka community.
The funeral rites for the deceased traditional ruler and his children have been scheduled to hold by 2 pm on Thursday at the emir’s palace in Dutse. The tragic incident has left the community in a state of shock and mourning, with many expressing their condolences to the family of the deceased.
