Kebbi guber: APC candidate impressed with voter turnout
The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing governorship and House of Assembly elections in Kebbi State, Nasiru Idris, has expressed satisfaction with the level of voter turnout at his polling unit.

Idris made the assertion shortly after casting his vote at his Nasarawa ward 2 polling unit 034 in Kano State. He commended the peaceful atmosphere and the conduct of the exercise, describing it as impressive.

The APC candidate stated that the large turnout of voters at various polling units was an indication that people are determined to vote for candidates of their choice in the elections. He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure that the process is free, fair, and credible.

Idris expressed optimism that the outcome of the elections would be a reflection of the will of the people. He urged the voters to remain calm and peaceful, as they exercise their franchise, and abide by the rules and regulations of the electoral process.

He also applauded the security operatives for their professionalism and commitment towards ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for the exercise. He called on them to remain vigilant and ensure that the process is not disrupted by any form of violence or intimidation.

Meanwhile, the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has also expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise. He called on his supporters to remain calm and peaceful, while they await the outcome of the polls.

Yusuf said that the high turnout of voters was an indication that the people were determined to choose their leaders democratically. He commended the security operatives for their efforts in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for the exercise.

The governorship candidate urged the voters to shun any form of violence, and report any act of electoral malpractice to the appropriate authorities. He also called on the INEC officials to ensure that the process is transparent and credible.

Similarly, the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alhaji Garba Bichi, expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the exercise. He called on the people to come out en masse to vote for their preferred candidates.

Bichi said that the high turnout of voters was an indication that the people were interested in the development of the state. He called on the security operatives to remain vigilant and ensure that the exercise is not marred by any form of violence or intimidation.

The SDP candidate urged the voters to remain calm and peaceful, while they await the outcome of the polls. He also advised them to be law-abiding and abide by the rules and regulations of the electoral process.
