JUST IN: Bandits kidnap 10 students in Kaduna

 

Bandits kidnapped about ten students in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 

The Kaduna State Government stated that preliminary reports from security agencies on the kidnapping of ten students in Kachia LGA had been received.

This was revealed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

According to preliminary reports, on Monday, students from the Government Secondary School, Awon (a day secondary school) were kidnapped.He stated that the exact location of the incident was unknown, and that detailed reports were awaited to determine whether the incident occurred on school grounds or elsewhere.

When more information becomes available, the commissioner promised to issue a public statement.
