President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to remain confident and believe in the country as a geo-political entity, despite the challenges it has faced. In his Easter message on Friday in Abuja, the President recognised that Easter is a time of renewed hope and a glorious future. He joined Christians in Nigeria and around the world in celebrating the occasion, which commemorates the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The President emphasised that the triumph of light over darkness is at the heart of Easter, which reminds us that the Almighty can turn an unpleasant situation around for good. He urged all Nigerians to continue to be confident and believe strongly in the country for better seasons ahead.

In addition to his Easter message, President Buhari also congratulated the winners of the February and March general elections and called on those who were not satisfied with the outcome to seek redress in the courts. He acknowledged that as a nation, Nigeria has gone through an election that has produced the next set of leaders at the Federal and State levels, and he commended Nigerians for believing in the process.

The President reiterated his commitment to keeping Nigeria united, prosperous, and secure. He said that day after day, he has been guided by the vows he took to achieve this goal. He pointed out that Nigeria's successes in security, economy, infrastructure, new oil frontier basins, landmark legal reforms, and food sufficiency, among others, were possible because of the support of Nigerians.

As Nigerians celebrate Easter with their families, neighbours, and communities, President Buhari urged them to do so with love, compassion, kindness, resilience, and forgiveness. He concluded his Easter message by wishing all Nigerians a Happy Easter.

The President's call for Nigerians to remain confident and believe in the country comes at a time when the nation is facing numerous challenges. These challenges include insecurity, economic downturn, and social unrest. However, despite these challenges, President Buhari believes that Nigeria has what it takes to overcome them and emerge stronger.

Nigeria's insecurity challenges have been a major concern for the President and the entire nation. The country has been battling various forms of insecurity, including insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, and communal clashes. The government has been working hard to address these challenges by deploying security forces and implementing various security measures.

In addition to insecurity, the Nigerian economy has also been struggling. The country has been facing economic challenges such as high inflation, currency devaluation, and unemployment. However, the government has been implementing various economic policies and programs aimed at addressing these challenges and stimulating economic growth.

Furthermore, Nigeria has also been facing social unrest, with various groups agitating for their rights and demands. These groups include the EndSARS protesters, who were calling for an end to police brutality and better governance. The government has been engaging with these groups and implementing various reforms aimed at addressing their demands.

President Buhari's Easter message is a reminder to Nigerians that despite the challenges facing the country, there is still hope for a better future. The President's commitment to keeping Nigeria united, prosperous, and secure is a reassuring message to the nation. His call for Nigerians to celebrate Easter with love, compassion, kindness, resilience, and forgiveness is also a reminder that these virtues are essential for a peaceful and prosperous society.
