However, just a few minutes into the test drive, Manga's friend excused himself to withdraw money from a nearby point of sale (PoS) operator. It was during this short absence that Henry seized the opportunity to vanish with the car.
Recalling the events, Manga stated, "They negotiated N55 million for the car, and he agreed, requesting to test drive the vehicle. He drove the car with my friend seated on the passenger side, and they headed to the filling station opposite the automatic car wash in Garki to purchase petrol before the test drive."
Continuing his account, Manga added, "As soon as my friend stepped out of the car at the filling station to withdraw money from the PoS operator for fuel, the guy zoomed off with the vehicle. You know how it is, there's no traffic, no hold-up in Abuja, and that's how he absconded with the car."
