Governor Obaseki to Swear In Edo State Executive Council
Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, is set to swear in members of the Edo State Executive Council on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Festival Hall, Government House in Benin City, and is scheduled to commence at 11am.

The Executive Council members who will be sworn in include Ethan Osaze Uzamere, Christopher Osaretin Nehikhare, Monday Osaigbovo, Dr Joan Osa-Oviawe, Isoken Omo, Stephen Ehikhioya Idehenre, Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, Patrick Uanseru, Samuel Alli (Dr), Adaze Aguele-Kalu, Kingsley Uwagbale, Uyi Oduwa Malaka, Joshua Omokhodion, Ojiefoh Enaholo Donatus, and Christabel Omo Ekwu.

Their nominations were recently cleared by the Edo State House of Assembly, following the Governor's submission of their names for consideration and confirmation. The swearing-in ceremony marks their formal induction into the Executive Council.

In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., it was emphasised that attendees should be seated with their spouses by 10:45am, in preparation for the commencement of the event.

Governor Obaseki's administration is keen on assembling a capable and dedicated team to drive the development agenda of Edo State. The inauguration of the Executive Council members reflects the government's commitment to effective governance and service delivery to the people.

With the swearing-in of these individuals, Governor Obaseki aims to harness their expertise and collective efforts in addressing the various challenges faced by the state and in implementing policies and programs that will promote sustainable growth and progress.
