Margif commended Abubakar and Obi for choosing the legal route by filing their cases with the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT). He stated that their actions align with the principles of democracy, sportsmanship, patriotism, and national unity.
Acknowledging the election campaigns that have concluded, Margif applauded the candidates of all political parties for their peaceful conduct during the elections and their pursuit of legal redress in cases of conflict.
Expressing his belief in divine providence, Margif stressed that Tinubu's ascension to the presidency was God's will and choice for Nigeria. He highlighted Tinubu's ability to lead and improve the nation's fortunes within just four weeks in office, asserting that the new leadership has shown capacity without bias.
Margif underscored the pressing need for national unity and integration to address the challenges of insecurity, unemployment, and religious intolerance that Nigeria has experienced in recent times.
While sharing his personal standpoint, Margif stated his willingness to withdraw his own litigation against the LP's Plateau State Chapter and the National Executive Councils. He extended the same suggestion to Abubakar, Obi, and their respective parties, urging them to withdraw their cases for the sake of national integration.
Margif believes that President Tinubu's governance will bring about the desired good governance and dividends of democracy. He emphasised that, regardless of individual voting preferences, the election outcome favoured Tinubu, making it essential to accept the will of the people.
Margif also called upon President Tinubu to form a government of national unity and integration. He highlighted the common emphasis on national unity and integration among all candidates, political parties, and their manifestos during the general elections.
Margif considers Nigeria's unity and integration to be the nation's strength and urged the Tinubu administration to leverage the "Renewed Hope" mantra to realise the dreams of the nation's founding fathers.
